Lazy day!

I am having an impossibly lazy day today. I am still in my pajamas and all I have eaten today is two pieces of birthday cake. I've just been playing on the computer and i-Phone and doing some crossword puzzles.

Jimmy had a good birthday yesterday. I baked him a cake while he spent the afternoon with his mom. Then he decided he wanted dinner to be guys only. He and Jim and Tyler went to Buffalo Wild Wings and I stayed home and waited for Michelle and Josh to come over. Then we had cake and presents and stayed up too late! A good birthday in my opinion!

And, like I said today is just a lazy day, so I am going to cheat and copy a Facebook survey for my post! I hope you'll copy it. I'd love to see your answers!

I don't like to clean the litter boxes. I usually make the kids do that one. I also don't love to sweep and mop, but I've been doing that a lot more often lately!

I really had a lot of great teachers. My first grade teacher, Mrs. Otte was great help to a shy little girl like me! I was so scared of going into 3rd grade with Mrs. Burke and she turned out to be a great teacher! I loved 4th grade and Mrs. Davis. Even though she threw eggs at me and Dana at breakfast once! In high school, I liked Sr. Rose and Mr. Miles.

38. Do you tell stories that start with “when I was your age..."?
Not on a regular basis, but yes I do!

I have been tagged about a hundred times on Facebook for the "25 random things about you" meme, so I thought I would post it here for all to see.

1. I *love* Days of Our Lives...and so does Big Daddy! ;)
2. I *hate* to go out in the snow.
3. I didn't like peanut butter as a kid, but it is one of my favorite snacks now.

So in honor of my 100 posts. I updated my blog for the holidays! Do you like it? I sure do! I even gave my family cute blog nicknames! See? ---------------->

Now as promised, here are 100 (and one) things you might not have known about me!

1. I will probably go back to all previous 100 posts and change all usage of my family's real names to their new blog nicknames

2. I color code my kids ( J=green, T=blue, R=red, M=yellow)

3. I am slightly OCD (ya think?)

4. I take medication for that!

5. I have 3 cats

6. I give them all first, middle and last names

7. I don't put my clothes in a dresser

I love having bloggy friends and playing these games, but oh, Karen! I'm gonna get you for this one (you'll see why in a minute!)

Obviously, this is not the most flattering picture of either one of us! I guess I could have lied and posted a cute pic of the kids or the cats or maybe even one of my many "artistic" stabs at nature photography, but I want to play by the rules and my sixth folder is the jimandjen folder!

So, here's what I can remember about this pic. It seems to have been taken by me on our trip to Vegas in January. I believe this was our last night there and I was tired from being out in the city all day. And, oh how my feet hurt! I only took one cute pair of boots (black, heeled ankle boots, if you were wondering...) with me. I thought every one there was going to be so Posh and stylish and I didn't want to look like a tourist (they don't, by the way). Needless to say, I will be taking comfortable clothes and sneakers the next time we go!

I have a scar on my shin from where I tried to use a laundry basket as a step stool. I fell through and really tore up my shin. But, that was probably almost 10 years ago. When I fell through a laundry basket step stool last month I didn't get hurt!
